Get caught up on Episode 1 if you missed it!

It's now just 4 weeks out from the 2016 Arnold Classic and things are heating up.

Brett takes competition seriously. Even though his football career was cut short by his diabetes diagnosis in college, he fills the void by competing on stage.

Now just 1 year after earning his IFBB pro card, Brett's gearing up for his biggest competitive challenge.

To make sure he's fueling his workouts for peak performance, he has a detailed supplementation plan.

Before heading to the gym, Brett chugs a quick pre-workout supplement. He also mixes up a protein shake with whey protein plus Karbolyn. He drinks about half of this pre-workout and finishes it after he's done.

During his workout, and throughout the day, Brett sips on BCAAs.

Brett keeps Gatorade on hand to help control his blood sugar and to stave off crashes.

With supplements and food in hand, Brett heads to gym for a brutal chest workout.

Training for the stage is about more than body part splits and workout routines though.

Brett waits until he's fatigued post-workout to practice his posing. This fatigued state best mimics the endurance required to stay flexed on stage.

Stay tuned for Episode III after the Arnold to see how Brett did!
