Yes, you can enjoy all of those fall treats! This Apple Cider Pronut recipe is not only simple, but healthy, protein packed and has only 1g of sugar!

  • 1 scoop MusclePharm Snickerdoodle Protein Powder*
  • ⅓ cup Oat Flour
  • 2 tbsp. Coconut Flour
  • ¼ cup Xylitol, or dry sweetener of choice
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. Nutmeg
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 tbsp. Butter (or coconut oil)
  • ¼ cup Apple Cider
  • ½ cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce
  • Optional Coating:
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • Xylitol

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 330 degrees
  2. Spray a donut pan with non stick spray
  3. Whisk together dry ingredients: protein powder, oat flour, coconut flour, xylitol, cinnamon, nutmeg and baking powder
  4. Melt 1 tbs butter and combine with eggs, apple cider and apple sauce
  5. Mix together wet and dry ingredients
  6. Evenly divide batter between 6 donut molds
  7. Bake for ~12 minutes or until slightly golden
  8. *Optional:
  9. Melt 2 tbs butter
  10. Dip donut into melted butter
  11. Coat with additional sweetener

*Can substitute with favorite cinnamon protein powder OR vanilla protein powder with additional 1 tsp ground cinnamon
