What is your background?

From Tannis Miller: "Working out has always been important in my life, but it was only within the last couple of years that I really began to take my diet and workouts to the next level. With a newfound passion that a life filled with fitness was a life worth living, I found myself taking more interest in activities such as training and my overall health. It was not until I completely revamped my lifestyle that I finally began to see real results in my physique and in the gym from my complete dedication to my new fitness routine. I have experienced many positive changes in my life due to my determination upon reaching my fitness goals. I have now entered the world of personal training, as I am recognizing my nature of inspiring others to realize their own potential! After all, I believe nothing clears the mind better than a solid workout and a goal that you are determined to reach, and I just love helping others realize this for themselves!

My recent success and passion in the fitness industry has recently escalated to new levels as I have graduated from the U of M and now represent Professional Edge Fitness, a high performance athletic gym. My mission is to turn athletic training main stream as it really gives the most punch out of a workout, without having to take up a lot of time. I believe high intensity and functional workouts are the most beneficial for achieving the fit and athletic physique that most admire, and they don’t require the unnecessary health costs and negative tolls that can be placed on life with restrictive dieting long term. Encouraging and monitoring smart nutrition decisions and conditioning the body to perform at its maximum threshold is my philosophy when it comes to getting in shape. I pride myself on the ability to successfully maintain and offer a healthy, balanced lifestyle, which produces remarkable results and leaves you feeling on top of the world!"
