The Muscle & Strength media team recently travelled to Ottawa, Canada to catch up with IFBB Pro and MHP athlete, Chris Bumstead, during his offseason.
In this particular video from the series, we induct Chris into the M&S Breakfast Club.
Watch the video or read on to learn what Chris likes to eat when he is in the comforts of his own home.
Chris Bumstead’s Breakfast
Chris travels a lot, so he is unable to cook breakfast for himself a lot of the time. However, when he is able to cook for himself, he enjoys making protein pancakes.
He’s not really a fan of oats, so by blending them up with his protein sources and creating pancakes, he is able to make a breakfast that he actually enjoys eating.
Here’s what you’ll need to cook his breakfast:
- 4 whole eggs
- 100g of oats
- 1 scoop of Maximum Whey
- 1 scoop of MHP Glutamine
- 1 “scoop” of baking powder
- Handful of blueberries
- Handful of raspberries
Put all of the ingredients (except the berries) into a blender, blend to create the batter, pour onto a skillet and cook until they start to bubble, flip and continue cooking for ~1min.
Once the pancakes are cooked, top with berries and other desired toppings and enjoy!
