IFBB Men's Physique Pro, Romane Lanceford, shows us his unique dieting approach while he's on prep. You're never going to believe how he fuels his body.

In this episode of our “Full Day of Eating” series, we caught up with IFBB pro and Primeval Labs athlete, Romane Lanceford.

When it comes to prep, Romane has a very unique strategy he likes to use to get in his meals for the day.

When consuming as many as 8 high protein meals a day, it’s reasonable to understand his logic behind his strategy.

However, it’s not for the faint of heart (or stomach).

Full Day of Eating with Romane Lanceford

Romane kick starts his day of eating with 400g of liquid egg whites and 100g of oats. He consumes this meal right after fasted cardio. For the meal, he simply combines the raw egg whites with the oats and eats it.

Meals 2-5 is where Romane implements his unique strategy. Each meal consists of jasmine rice and cod, but instead of eating them cold – he blends them and drinks them.

He started blending his meals about 2 years ago on a competition prep. He saw someone do it on Youtube 3 years ago and thought it was a tactic he’d never resort to. However, after getting tired of eating food all of the time, he gave it a shot.

It works for him. He’d rather drink a shake in 30 seconds than eat a cold cod meal 4 times a day.

He’s still shocked that people ask him how it tastes. It’ll never taste good. And the texture is pretty awful as well. But when it comes to prep, it’s whatever it takes.

If you decide to give it a shot yourself, be sure to drink them over a sink or outside incase the fishshakes come back up.

During meal 4, he takes is Mega Pre Black pre-workout. And for his post-workout meal 5, he adds a scoop of Isolit to his cod shake for extra protein post workout.

Meals 6 and 7 are 250g of chicken breast and four asparagus spears.

And the final meal contains salmon, sweet corn, asparagus, and ketchup. Romane likes saving this meal for right before bed because the fat slows down the digestion of the protein to keep his muscles fed overnight.
