Just last week IFBB Pro and Scitec Athlete Cedric McMillan visited the M&S HQ to share some of his training techniques.

In this video, Cedric shares a simple tricep pressdown variation that makes a huge impact on overall tricep size and development.
One thing Cedric has learned over his years of competing is when you step on stage and hit your poses, certain body parts don’t look as good as they’re supposed to look. Cedric blames this on people training to look good while they’re completely clothed.
The body part in particular that Cedric likes to add size and thickness to is his triceps. And to do this, he uses a variation of the one arm tricep cable extension.
Start off by placing a cable pulley as high as it can go and attach a single handle to the cable. Then, stand parallel to the pulley. Reach across your body under your chest and grab the handle with an underhand grip.
Keep your arm close to your body and contract the tricep. You might even be able to see the muscle working with this variation. Once you get close to failure, flip your grip from an underhand grip to an overhand grip and finish the set by going to complete failure.
