Exercise Ball Wall Squat Instructions

  1. Position an exercise ball between the center of your back and a wall.
  2. Adjust your feet to about shoulder-width apart and a few inches away. This is the starting position.
  3. Slowly slide your back down the wall, bending your knees until they are at about 90 degrees.
  4. Stay in the squat position, keeping your thighs parallel to the floor.
  5. Push through your heels and slowly slide back up to the starting position. This is one rep.
  6. Perform the desired reps, focusing on form and controlled movement.

Exercise Ball Wall Squat Tips

  • To get the full benefit of the squat, descend as low as possible - at least until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
  • For extra intensity, pause for a few seconds at the bottom of the movement.

Would you recommend this for a beginner who struggles to do a regular body-weight squat? Is this good to learn proper form for a squat?
