Smith Machine Squat (Feet Forward) Instructions
- Set the bar to around shoulder height and load the weight you want to use.
- Stand under the bar with your legs around shoulder width apart. Grasp the bar with a wide grip and position the center of the bar on top of the muscles on your back.
- Unrack the weight and take a few steps forward to bring your feet out in front of you. This is the starting position.
- Inhale and slowly squat down until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
- Exhale, and push up through the heels, raising the bar back to the starting position. This is one rep.
- Repeat for desired reps.
