Decline Bench Leg Raise Instructions

  1. Position yourself on a decline bench, securing your feet under the foot pads. Adjust the bench to a comfortable angle.
  2. Lie back on the bench with your legs extended and hold onto the pads above your head for stability.
  3. Tighten your core and keep your lower back pressed against the bench. This is the starting position.
  4. Slowly raise your legs toward the ceiling, keeping them straight. Focus on using your lower abs to lift your legs.
  5. Once your legs are close to vertical, briefly pause and squeeze your abs.
  6. Slowly lower your legs back down to just above the bench, maintaining control throughout the movement.
  7. Perform the desired number of reps, keeping your movements slow and controlled.
