Lying High Pulley Close Grip Cable Curl Instructions

  1. Position a flat bench in front of a high pulley cable machine.
  2. Attach a straight bar to the high pulley and select your desired weight on the stack.
  3. Sit on the bench facing away from the machine. Grasp the bar with an underhand grip (palms facing up), keeping your hands about 6–8 inches apart.
  4. Lie back on the bench so your head is near the end closest to the cable machine.
  5. With your upper arms stationary, curl the bar toward your forehead in a controlled motion.
  6. At the top of the movement, squeeze your biceps, then slowly lower the bar back to the starting position.
  7. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
