Mike received his B.S. in Exercise Science from USC and is currently pursuing his Masters in Exercise Physiology and Sport Performance at ETSU while continuing to serve as a strength and conditioning coach in his free time.

About Mike Wines

Mike graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2014 with his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. During his undergraduate career, he interned with multiple collegiate and professional organizations including EXOS (formerly Athlete’s Performance) and USC’s Olympic strength and conditioning department.

After his undergraduate studies, Mike worked as the in-house content editor for M&S before continuing on to his graduate studies. Currently, he is pursuing his Masters in Exercise Physiology and Sport Performance at East Tennessee State University and continues to serve as a strength and conditioning coach in his free time.

Outside of the weight room, Mike is known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and passionate attitude. He is currently pursuing his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification through the NSCA and holds continuing education in high regards. In all things in life, he seeks to live out his motto: “Excellence, not perfection.
