Jordan Martin is a software engineer and small business owner who found the iron during a major body transformation, dropping from a body weight of 360 pounds down to 215. Unhappy being skinny, he turned to strength training and a low carb diet, slowly building solid mass and strength.
After floundering around on traditional body part splits and muscle confusion techniques, Jordan came under the influence of nationally ranked powerlifter Steve Shaw and began to train more sensibly, using big powerful movements and pushing for progression in every set. This training style increased his lifts immensely and he has set his sights on a powerlifting total of no less than 1500 in early 2014.
Currently, Jordan competes in Strongman and Powerlifting, placing second and first respectively in his division in his last meets. These sports are his passion and he works to increase knowledge and reach of them through his writing and everyday conversations with people he meets.
