The BEST protein I have ever tasted. I used to be big on the Muscle and Strength brand of protein which was really good too. But, it's always out of stock! So, I decided to switch my preference over to this. I bought two kinds: Peanut Butter and Chocolate. I take 2 scoops with 8 - 10 ounces of water and they both taste amazing. I had Peanut Butter yesterday, Chocolate today, and tomorrow I'm going to try mixing the two with one scoop of each and see what happens. ANYWAYS, I totally recommend this for anyone. Good price, good nutrition value. Amazing!

This is going to be a review of 2 flavors and since I've only just purchased this, a review on ONLY the taste of these flavors.
I purchased 2lbs tubs of both the Chocolate and Cake Batter flavors. First, hats off to the M&S people for offering the best service around. I received the tubs and what a waste of plastic... I opened the tub and it was 3/4 empty. I had to weigh the tub to make sure it was 2lbs (it was, all good there).
Although both of the proteins have excellent profiles and smelled great, they were both awfully too sweet and just drowned the flavor of cake batter and chocolate. How companies can't nail down chocolate I can't understand. Bite a piece of chocolate then taste your protein... I did that and it wasn't even close (Dove or Hershey's). The taste was similar to M&S's IsoFuel, which I also didn't like. Far too much sucralose ladies and gents. And I'm a choco-holic and have a sweet tooth. ON's Extreme Milk Chocolate is the only one I've tasted that actually tastes like chocolate, but it's got way too much filler.
I might try this brand again... the search for a great tasting Isolate continues (although I do like IsoFuel's Mint Chocolate but it's always out of stock when I'm ready to buy) and try their Mint Chocolate.

This is the first product I have tried by MGN and it won't be my last. I have checked out about a half dozen different brands of protein powders in the past, and MGN's Pure Whey Isolate has just topped my list. I'll start with the quality.. This protein powder is extremely easy to mix with most liquids. I've used a shaker-ball blender cup, a spoon in a glass, and also a small electric blender to mix this protein and I didn't get clumps in any of the three methods. The powder also does not leave much of a residue left behind, it can easily be rinsed out of the containers you mixed it in with some running water. Because I have made a habit of always rinsing my cups or bowls after use with a protein powder, I am not aware if this one leaves any fowl smells behind in a dirty container. I'm assuming not.
Now for the taste... I have only tried the Cinnamon Bun flavored protein, and I highly recommend it. This is the best tasting protein powder I have tried to date. It is smooth, slightly creamy, and has a great cinnamon flavor (like Cinnamon Toast crunch, but not as sugary). Although, i f you only mix it with water or skim milk the flavor will be on the weaker side, but that is usually the case with most protein powders. For me it has tasted the best either mixed in with cereal or in a fruit smoothie. If you have never tried protein powder in hot oatmeal with milk before, this is the flavor you need to do it! This particular flavor did not leave behind any odd or funky after-taste that some other protein powders tend to do. On that note, it also does not leave a waxy or chalky coating in your mouth.
And now for the cons... Only a couple negative things to say and it's more about the packaging/pricing of MGN products than about the protein itself. I ordered the 2lb container and when it arrived I thought I had ordered the 5lb by mistake. The container they use to put the protein in is ridiculously large, especially when it is only 1/3 of the way full. I know 2lbs of protein is not a lot, so I’d prefer if the product was not in a giant misleading container. I ended up having to transfer the protein into something to save space and so that I don't have to dip my entire hand into the container every time I go for a scoop. The only other complaint I have is the original price. I purchased this at $24.99 (which is supposedly 50% off). Given the quality and taste, this is a fair price that I would repurchase at. But if this product unfortunately ever goes back to the original price of $54, I will not be buying it again in the future.
Overall, the Cinnamon Bun flavored protein by MGN is of good quality and is great tasting! Not many changes are needed; I just hope the price stays low.

This is by FAR the best whey protein on the market that I've found in the past 8 years. I always do tons of research before I put anything in my body and this is one of the cleanest, purest whey powders I've found. Anyone who has done their research knows that normally, bodies can't process more than about 30 grams of protein per meal, so this is near-perfect at 25 grams/scoop. Those powders that have 40-50 grams or more are an absolute waste. This is an AMAZING product and I've seen great results from it!!
Do your research, learn about your body and how different products work with it, and I'll bet you agree that MGN Isolate is one of the best, if not the best, protein on the market. Buy a 2lb tub and test it out.

I've tried a bunch of different proteins, and even as a rookie in the weightlifting game I can tell when something is working. It's as simple as this: Look at the nutrition label and compare it to ANY other protein. It's all good stuff in there, with no fat and no carbs. The taste is incredible (spot on to melted Vanilla ice cream) and it mixes just fine in water after 20-30 seconds of shaking. If you're looking for a protein that doesn't have all the fillers many do, this is far and away the best choice at the price. Thanks MGN, keep it up.

This is the first time that I have ever rated a protein, but I have had tried many from ON, Myofusion, Scivation, Muscle Milk, GNC brands, MHP, MRI and most recently ISO 100. In my opinion ISO 100 is the by far the best of those stated, as it is hydrolyzed and it truly shows as the powder is fine texture and dissolves in only a few shakes. Now unfortunately funds aren't as they use to be and I opted to look for another quality protein at a discount. After some research and resolve I chose MGN Pure Whey Isolate, and after only a few servings I must say that I am happy of my decision and may convert to MGN for good in regards to my protein. The taste is pretty damn good and is sweet enough to be considered a treat, assuming most people have the mentality to keep their strict diet and perceive it as so. I have yet to notice any gastrointestinal effects which come with most if not all protein powders, but rest assure that I will update should I have any. My only hopes are that MGN doesn't do like other up and coming comapanies and increase prices and lower qualilty once the client base has been established. Rest assured that I am no MGN affiliate and speak only as a true gym rat free of biased opinions. I have only been lifting for the last 4 years and go pretty hardcore in gym...all my exercises are for reps and are as follows....405 deadlift 7-10 reps, 450 squat 8-10 reps, 285 bench 10 reps, 315 bent over row 7-8 reps....so im hoping these numbers increase with my hardwork and nutrition consisting of MGN. Updates will come once my 5lb tub has been depleted.

MGN pure isolate is the bomb !! I've tried 4 different brands of protein in the last year, and none compare to the taste, smooth mix, price, and overall results of this product. I have tried 5 flavors over the last 4 months - choc. mint, cinnamon bun, choc. caramel, wild berry, and ice cream sandwich. All of them have great flavor and mix very smooth in a shaker cup with a few ice cubes and 8 ozs. of water or milk - ( I mix half and half ) Also, this is the first protein I've used and seen results at the gym - I'm 44 years old and not a power lifter of any sort, just enjoy staying in shape and adding some muscle. In 4 months of using this product ( I drink a serving with a bagel at breakfast and a serving immediately following my workout ) I have added 45 lbs. to my bench, went from a 32 to a 31 waist, and went from 172 lbs. to 181 lbs. Between the pure whey protein isolate and the BCAA's, this product works and tastes great.

I used it in a blender and blended 10/10 and also in a glass w/ about 7-8oz milk and it blended 9/10. Stirring for about 30 seconds with a spoon in a glass while scraping the bottom really helped. I didn't have chunks floating around and it tasted like a strawberry banana milkshake. The flavor wasn't too overpowering, but it is Very sweet overall. I was surprised it didn't have any sugar!
I am not sure how well the other flavors mix, but the Strawberry Banana powder I got was nice and dry and didn't clump at all when initially dumped into an empty glass. If you are using a blender then you have nothing to worry about.
Great taste, great buy, great mixability as far as this flavor and VERY SATISFIED! Yum!
