The BEST protein I have ever tasted. I used to be big on the Muscle and Strength brand of protein which was really good too. But, it's always out of stock! So, I decided to switch my preference over to this. I bought two kinds: Peanut Butter and Chocolate. I take 2 scoops with 8 - 10 ounces of water and they both taste amazing. I had Peanut Butter yesterday, Chocolate today, and tomorrow I'm going to try mixing the two with one scoop of each and see what happens. ANYWAYS, I totally recommend this for anyone. Good price, good nutrition value. Amazing!

Ice cream sandwich tastes amazing...I have also had cake batter which is delicious and peanut butter as well. This is my favorite protein of all time!!! It tastes amazing and mixes well in a shaker cup and there is no need to add anything to it to make it taste better because it is so good on it's own.

This is going to be a review of 2 flavors and since I've only just purchased this, a review on ONLY the taste of these flavors.

I purchased 2lbs tubs of both the Chocolate and Cake Batter flavors. First, hats off to the M&S people for offering the best service around. I received the tubs and what a waste of plastic... I opened the tub and it was 3/4 empty. I had to weigh the tub to make sure it was 2lbs (it was, all good there).

Although both of the proteins have excellent profiles and smelled great, they were both awfully too sweet and just drowned the flavor of cake batter and chocolate. How companies can't nail down chocolate I can't understand. Bite a piece of chocolate then taste your protein... I did that and it wasn't even close (Dove or Hershey's). The taste was similar to M&S's IsoFuel, which I also didn't like. Far too much sucralose ladies and gents. And I'm a choco-holic and have a sweet tooth. ON's Extreme Milk Chocolate is the only one I've tasted that actually tastes like chocolate, but it's got way too much filler.

I might try this brand again... the search for a great tasting Isolate continues (although I do like IsoFuel's Mint Chocolate but it's always out of stock when I'm ready to buy) and try their Mint Chocolate.

For any of you looking for a good tasting protein, that mixes just right, and has lots of protein per serving? LOOK NO FURTHER. I have tried over ten types of proteins, but this is BY FAR the best one out there. THe flavors taste like your eating ice cream in a glass. Im currently on peanut butter and am completely satisfied. This is the first product I have tried by MGN and it won't be my last. I have checked out about a half dozen different brands of protein powders in the past, and MGN's Pure Whey Isolate has just topped my list. I'll start with the quality.. This protein powder is extremely easy to mix with most liquids. I've used a shaker-ball blender cup, a spoon in a glass, and also a small electric blender to mix this protein and I didn't get clumps in any of the three methods. The powder also does not leave much of a residue left behind, it can easily be rinsed out of the containers you mixed it in with some running water. Because I have made a habit of always rinsing my cups or bowls after use with a protein powder, I am not aware if this one leaves any fowl smells behind in a dirty container. I'm assuming not.

Now for the taste... I have only tried the Cinnamon Bun flavored protein, and I highly recommend it. This is the best tasting protein powder I have tried to date. It is smooth, slightly creamy, and has a great cinnamon flavor (like Cinnamon Toast crunch, but not as sugary). Although, i f you only mix it with water or skim milk the flavor will be on the weaker side, but that is usually the case with most protein powders. For me it has tasted the best either mixed in with cereal or in a fruit smoothie. If you have never tried protein powder in hot oatmeal with milk before, this is the flavor you need to do it! This particular flavor did not leave behind any odd or funky after-taste that some other protein powders tend to do. On that note, it also does not leave a waxy or chalky coating in your mouth.

And now for the cons... Only a couple negative things to say and it's more about the packaging/pricing of MGN products than about the protein itself. I ordered the 2lb container and when it arrived I thought I had ordered the 5lb by mistake. The container they use to put the protein in is ridiculously large, especially when it is only 1/3 of the way full. I know 2lbs of protein is not a lot, so I’d prefer if the product was not in a giant misleading container. I ended up having to transfer the protein into something to save space and so that I don't have to dip my entire hand into the container every time I go for a scoop. The only other complaint I have is the original price. I purchased this at $24.99 (which is supposedly 50% off). Given the quality and taste, this is a fair price that I would repurchase at. But if this product unfortunately ever goes back to the original price of $54, I will not be buying it again in the future.

Overall, the Cinnamon Bun flavored protein by MGN is of good quality and is great tasting! Not many changes are needed; I just hope the price stays low.

This is by FAR the best whey protein on the market that I've found in the past 8 years. I always do tons of research before I put anything in my body and this is one of the cleanest, purest whey powders I've found. Anyone who has done their research knows that normally, bodies can't process more than about 30 grams of protein per meal, so this is near-perfect at 25 grams/scoop. Those powders that have 40-50 grams or more are an absolute waste. This is an AMAZING product and I've seen great results from it!!

Do your research, learn about your body and how different products work with it, and I'll bet you agree that MGN Isolate is one of the best, if not the best, protein on the market. Buy a 2lb tub and test it out.

This flavor is primarily chocolatey tasting, but you can definitely tell it's rocky road. I found that it goes really well in Greek yogurt. Mixes easily in water like all of the MGN Pure Isolates.

I've tried a bunch of different proteins, and even as a rookie in the weightlifting game I can tell when something is working. It's as simple as this: Look at the nutrition label and compare it to ANY other protein. It's all good stuff in there, with no fat and no carbs. The taste is incredible (spot on to melted Vanilla ice cream) and it mixes just fine in water after 20-30 seconds of shaking. If you're looking for a protein that doesn't have all the fillers many do, this is far and away the best choice at the price. Thanks MGN, keep it up.

This is the first time that I have ever rated a protein, but I have had tried many from ON, Myofusion, Scivation, Muscle Milk, GNC brands, MHP, MRI and most recently ISO 100. In my opinion ISO 100 is the by far the best of those stated, as it is hydrolyzed and it truly shows as the powder is fine texture and dissolves in only a few shakes. Now unfortunately funds aren't as they use to be and I opted to look for another quality protein at a discount. After some research and resolve I chose MGN Pure Whey Isolate, and after only a few servings I must say that I am happy of my decision and may convert to MGN for good in regards to my protein. The taste is pretty damn good and is sweet enough to be considered a treat, assuming most people have the mentality to keep their strict diet and perceive it as so. I have yet to notice any gastrointestinal effects which come with most if not all protein powders, but rest assure that I will update should I have any. My only hopes are that MGN doesn't do like other up and coming comapanies and increase prices and lower qualilty once the client base has been established. Rest assured that I am no MGN affiliate and speak only as a true gym rat free of biased opinions. I have only been lifting for the last 4 years and go pretty hardcore in gym...all my exercises are for reps and are as follows....405 deadlift 7-10 reps, 450 squat 8-10 reps, 285 bench 10 reps, 315 bent over row 7-8 reps....so im hoping these numbers increase with my hardwork and nutrition consisting of MGN. Updates will come once my 5lb tub has been depleted.

Very smooth, easy to blend, makes my daily snacks smoething to look forward to, great taste, if you find its too sweet mix flavor of choice with their unflavored protein. From my research the protein, sugar, Aminos content seems fine. Great price!

MGN pure isolate is the bomb !! I've tried 4 different brands of protein in the last year, and none compare to the taste, smooth mix, price, and overall results of this product. I have tried 5 flavors over the last 4 months - choc. mint, cinnamon bun, choc. caramel, wild berry, and ice cream sandwich. All of them have great flavor and mix very smooth in a shaker cup with a few ice cubes and 8 ozs. of water or milk - ( I mix half and half ) Also, this is the first protein I've used and seen results at the gym - I'm 44 years old and not a power lifter of any sort, just enjoy staying in shape and adding some muscle. In 4 months of using this product ( I drink a serving with a bagel at breakfast and a serving immediately following my workout ) I have added 45 lbs. to my bench, went from a 32 to a 31 waist, and went from 172 lbs. to 181 lbs. Between the pure whey protein isolate and the BCAA's, this product works and tastes great.

I used it in a blender and blended 10/10 and also in a glass w/ about 7-8oz milk and it blended 9/10. Stirring for about 30 seconds with a spoon in a glass while scraping the bottom really helped. I didn't have chunks floating around and it tasted like a strawberry banana milkshake. The flavor wasn't too overpowering, but it is Very sweet overall. I was surprised it didn't have any sugar!

I am not sure how well the other flavors mix, but the Strawberry Banana powder I got was nice and dry and didn't clump at all when initially dumped into an empty glass. If you are using a blender then you have nothing to worry about.

Great taste, great buy, great mixability as far as this flavor and VERY SATISFIED! Yum!

Great profile, mix-ability is good, and tastes unreal. For the nutritional content (low carb, zero fat, and pure isolate) and how good this stuff tastes you can't go wrong with it. price is also great. very affordable. also, have cinnamon bun flavor and it tastes great too. Im currently preparing for a bb show and I look forward to drinking this stuff. Throw some ice water and 2 scoops in a blender and it tastes like a milkshake.

I've ordered several flavors of MGN isolate and have been pleased with every one. Not sure what accounts for the big bump in price though. Six months ago a 5-lb container was $37 and now it's $46. That could factor into my decision to order more from M&S.

Much better than the Ice Cream Sandwich - mixes well and tastes pretty good. I am a little susceptible to whey concentrate but didn't have any issues with this

This protein is hands down the best protein I have ever had! It mixes great with any liquid. I usually like to make protein smoothies after a work out. I use almond milk, coconut water, strawberries or bananas with ice. It tastes just like a chocolate milkshake. The more ice you add the thicker and better it gets. The protein doesn't separate or clump. You don't have to add any sweeteners because it taste sweet already. I have even added it to coffee to give my java a chocolate jolt and it mixed great. The best way I have tried it is by making a dessert cocktail. I used one scoop protein, one ounce kaluah, two ounces almond milk, two ounces coconut water, two frozen strawberries, and eight ounces of ice and blend into the most amazing spiked chocolate milkshake ever. It is a low calorie, low carb, low sugar, sweet treat with a whopping 25 grams of protein. What more could you ask for?

After trying a few other brands I have to say MGN makes the best whey isolate in my opinion. This time around I ordered cinnamon, cake batter, vanilla and chocolate. The chocolate was new to me and I'm already obsessed. Cinnamon is a long time "friend", of which I highly reccomend especially mixed with old fashioned oatmeal and berries. Great product at an affordable price. Mixes well with whisk in oats or shaker cup for almond milk/water. Very pleased.

I bought this since the IsoFuel was out of stock and to be honest this is a good product, comparing the ingredients IsoFuel is slightly higher in a few ingredients but minimal. This product has sodium where IsoFuel does not. I would have given it a 5 star but I have to use a blender to mix it where I did not have to use a blender with IsoFuel.
However, I will continue to use this because its so close to IsoFuel's profile, plus I can save $10-20 on using this product.

The only thing I wasn't keen on was that it wouldn't mix worth a darn unless in a shaker cup - IsoFuel didn't have that problem. It was also sweeter than I cared for but that's a subjective thing.

Would I buy it again? Sure, especially at this price. Just have to try a different flavor!

IsoFuel has the edge over this, though - just bring back cinnamon!!!

I decided to give this brand a try. I started using IsoFUEL, but got the MGN combo, the whey and BCAA package. The Chocolate Caramel is pretty good. Not overly caramel, but that's good IMO. I use a shaker with a metal ball, but it still doesn't completely break up. There are very little bits, but not bad at all. You don't really feel or taste them. In skim or almond milk, it is rich and thick. (thicker than other whey's that I have tried. In water, it is obviously not as rich, but surprisingly still fairly thick, and still good taste. I am quite happy with the taste, and look forward to trying other flavors. I am torn between which I like better, MGN or IsoFUEL. This combo deal was a GREAT price, but their BCAA powder is HORRIBLE. I wouldn't drink it for free!

So last I was on this page this stuff was 37.99...now 41.99 for a formula that has changed. They have added something to their serving size, it used to be 27 or 28g a serving size with the 25g of protein in the serving. They also stopped making it with stevia, which no one else for around this price does anyway. ISOfuel, is the bomb 2$ less for the 5lb jug, better quality and flavor, 104 calories, 25g of protein per 28.4g serving. I am currently using chocolate peanut butter, it tastes like reeses puffs, and that is just in water. The 5 lbs sell out a little fast, so grab a 2lb for 19.99 which is what you would spend here, but you can enjoy better quality and flavor.

I've been using protein powders for about 8 years and I can't find any whey isolate that's lower in cost compared to MGN. The variety of the flavors are huge and I've yet to try one where I didn't enjoy the taste. I switched to MGN about 2 years ago and haven't used anything else since.

I have actually got 3 different ones, for my wife and I. Chocolate Carm, Vanilla and Peanut Butter. I have had ZERO issues mixing it with water. it blends well and tastes just as good as a protein shake can!! I recommend.

I love this product! I have tried 2 flavors so far. Vanilla Caramel and Chocolate. They are both very delicious. Chocolate is my favorite. I mix 1 scoop with 8oz of 2% milk and have had NO problems with the powder dissolving. At the most, I have a small "floater". I use the mixer with the wire whisk ball inside. I would recommend this product to anyone. If your having a problem mixing it, it could be the flavor or the mixer your using. Try another flavor or mix it a bit longer than you usually do.

Got a 2lb tub to hold me and the wife over until IsoFuel is back in stock. It's a great option for an isolate. It mixes well and this flavor is delicious. The American Isolate is a better option in terms of price but for the calorie counters this is 10 calories less per serving.

mix not to well, it was little clumpy. The flavoring and sweetner chunks are too big disolve and it will sit at the bottom. its like piece of small candies at the bottom of my drinks. gonna try different flavor next time to see the difference 6/10

This is my first use of this brand; it was recommended to me by a colleague, based on price, and quality of the protein supplement. I've yet to figure out why the 10-lb portion costs more than the 5-lb though...

It mixes well enough with water, although slightly more water than the recommendation helps with the mixing. I stirred it in with a spoon, and only wound up with a few small floaters--easy enough to overlook. The taste is quite good, and even in water, is very creamy-tasting.

I find this to be an excellent value, and I will be buying more of this brand. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for value in their supplement budget.

I've gone through at least 4 two-pound tubs of this stuff, and I keep coming back to it. Other protein brands are hit or miss for me, but MGN isolate is consistently awesome. It's not too expensive, mixes well in a variety of foods (can you say protein ice cream?!), and tastes pretty darn good. I have tried Vanilla Caramel, Cake Batter, and Cinnamon Bun. Vanilla Caramel is by far my favorite but I mean to try others as well. The only reason I took off half of a star is because I wish it were not sweetened with sucralose.

I have ordered this protein for years and have been satisfied with it until now. In the most recent batch I have ordered, not only did the packaging change but the formula seems to have as well. This latest batch mixes terribly with anything I have tried. A "cake" of the powder floats to the top when I mix with milk using a spoon, and half the scoop seems to stick to the bottom/sides. When using a shaker a similar result occurs. I used to like this protein a lot but now it is terrible. Look elsewhere.

Mixed this with 2% milk again 12oz for an afternoon snack. Didnt have time to eat a full lunch today so I didnt get my 40g of protein from a meal, I usually NEVER do this as I feel whole foods are the best source of protein. Anyway, mixability was awsome, absolutly NO clumps at all I give it a 10 out of 10. Tasted fantastic, although I didnt get the Ice Cream Sandwich flavor, it was more like vanilla Ice Cream which was fine for me, I loved it. Again 10 out of 10 on flavor also. For some reason this flavor seemed a little thicker then the rest for some reason Idk why but, it acctually made the shake more enticing.....to me, at least! lol I encourage anyone who is at all interested in trying MGN protein to pick up the sample pack on MGN's site $6 for 6 different flavors!
