I didn’t realize the fat content was so high, 9 grams!, but ok that’s my fault for not reading the label before buying. But with such a fat content, this stuff should taste delicious, right? Nope! Pretty bland flavor overall. For 210 calories, I might as well eat a slice of pizza. Sure this stuff is cheap on sale, but I’ll be switching back to Optimum Nutrition or something similar when I’m done with this junk. *

Good tasting. Peanut butter flavor not to overpowering. Works as advertised *

Love the nutritional profile and that it’s grass fed! I will say the flavor was a miss for sure and it did not mix well with water or milk in a shaker. But I'm one who believes not everything good for you is going to taste like candy. Plus I just slam my shakes for the most part anyway. Probably not my go to in the future but would be great blended in a smoothie I'm sure. *

Worst tasting protein I have ever tried*

Taste is decent. Gets better as you use it. Gets thick in almond milk. Lots of fat though so be ware. Mixes ok. I bought it in a great sale. I’d buy it again at the same price but probably not at regular price.*

I was disappointed in the taste, after reading such high reviews. I don't taste any peanut butter taste at all in the Chocolate PB Ice Cream flavor. Both the Choc Ice Cream and the Choc PB Ice Cream flavors are very "protieny" and fake. It's been a long time since I've had protein that has tasted this bad.*

Good quality powder. Chocolate has great taste and mixes well. The Vanilla is horrible and leaves a strange aftertaste.*

The caloric value is a bit higher than an average scoop of whey. However, the protein content is great per serving. Both the chocolate and strawberry flavors are good.*

This is the worse protein I've tried In a while. The taste is really bad on the strawberry ice cream, almost sour. I had to check the expiration date to make sure I didn't get a bad batch. Then I tried the second tub I bought, cookies and cream, same thing. Do not recommend.*

Apex is very much slept on! I think it is the greatest protein for the price you are getting it for and the macros are outstanding!*

It’s a great deal which is not so easy to find for protein powders, and the 30g protein per scoop also beats out most other brands. That said this stuff will stick to whatever you’re drinking it out of (even if you blend it in water) so I’m deducting a star for that *

Please do not believe any of these reviews. I ordered this after reading that the flavor appeared to be good, but it was far from it. I have been body building for 10 years now and have had my fair share of protein shakes, and this was one of the worst. The vanilla ice cream has an absolutely awful after taste that is chemical like and stays in your mouth for an extended period of time. It does not even taste like vanilla?? Its frustrating to have to throw away a 5 lb tub of protein after only using one scoop......*
