How to measure your bodyfat

Welcome to the Muscle and Strength toolbox! This section contains helpful tools you can use to plan your diet/nutrition and track your progress. We have tools to calculate your daily calories, estimate your 1 REP MAX bench press, measure your body fat percentage and calculate your "ideal" measurements.

Probably the most helpful tool in this section is the BMR Calculator. This tool is used to calculate how many calories your body needs to build muscle or lose weight.

We add tools to this page regularly, so make sure you bookmark this page and check back for updates!

TOOLS AND CALCULATORS:

Daily calorie calculator BMR & Daily Calorie Calculator
This calculator is used to calculate the amount of calories you need to consume on a daily basis. The formula used by this calculator is far superior to most others on the web, resulting in a more accurate result.

Calculate your bodyfat % How To Calculate Your Bodyfat %
This tutorial by Doug Lawrenson explains exactly how to measure your body fat % accurately using skinfold calipers. This method is the most accurate way to measure and track your body fat and fat free mass.
Calculate your ideal body measurements Ideal Body Measurements Calculator
The "ideal body measurements" calculator is based on bodybuilding legend Steve Reeves's ideal proportions formula used in his book "Classic Physique". The calculator takes your wrist, ankle, head, pelvis and knee measurements to calculate your "ideal" proportions.

1 rep max calculator 1 REP MAX Bench Calculator
Our 1 REP MAX bench press calculator can be used to estimate what your 1 REP MAX bench press would be based on what you can push for X amount of reps. This calculator should be used as a guide only, the only true accurate way is to get in the gym and test it!
Bench press max chart Bench Press Max Chart
The bench press chart is the old school way of estimating your 1 REP MAX bench press. Like the bench calculator above, the chart will give you an estimated figure, the only true way to test is to do it in the gym!
