This bench press calculator can be used to work out your approximate 1 REP MAX bench press. The way this bench calculator works is it takes the amount of weight you can bench for a certain number of reps and uses a formula to calculate your approximate 1 REP MAX. Obviously, these figures are not 100% accurate.
To use the bench press calculator simply enter the weight in the first box provided and select the number of reps from the drop down box. For example, if I benched 100kg for 10 reps I would enter 100 and select 10 reps. The bench press calculator works in both pounds and kilograms.

sorry dude... but jay cutler is not a good example of bench strength. look up mike macdonald the powerlifter for an example of a guy with skinny arms who benches like a monster. or even scarier watch eric spoto

Haha dude you're lying so hard. Your numbers don't even come close to adding up. Drop the zebra cakes and actually get to a gym kid.

oh by the way there is a difference in push down and pull down with a rope on pull down I can do the 200 lb stack in my school weight room for 20 reps pretty easy for what most people do of drop sets yes I could probably do well over 300 on it but I said push down with a bar Pull downs are very easy.

Posted Wed, 11/21/2012 - 16:27
doesnt matter what your pressing though, some people are heavyier and been doing it for longer, aslong as your improving everyweek. thats the main thing! :)
Posted Tue, 12/04/2012 - 22:26
I started when I was 21 a few months ago and I started at 125. Nine months in and now I'm at about 290-295.

Posted Thu, 10/04/2012 - 12:49
Not bad! I weigh 180 and can bench about 240.
Posted Tue, 10/09/2012 - 11:14
5'10 190... Did 225 20 times last night.. Rep max 365 but have only one rep maxed 315
Posted Tue, 11/27/2012 - 11:15
That's pretty impressive. I hit 315 as my max a few years ago when I weighed 160 (I am 5'11). I weigh 170 now, and I hit 255 7 times the other day. I should be stronger, but I've been busy.
Posted Mon, 01/21/2013 - 06:31
this is me. I'm 5'11 and weigh 190 lbs. I can rep 225 20 reps but when I do 1 rep max I never get close to what I'm supposed to be lifting. I can 1 rep max abut 340lbs.
Posted Mon, 10/15/2012 - 21:37

Posted Sat, 11/10/2012 - 17:38
Thats pretty good Im 16 weigh 170 and bench press 260. I'm trying to increase will I drop down to 160 so I can hit a double body weight bench by the ending of my school year
Posted Mon, 11/12/2012 - 23:12
19 years old. Weight 147 bench max 300 squat max 375 deadlift max 340
Posted Wed, 12/05/2012 - 15:09
Why is the deadlift so proportionally bad? Oh that's right because you can't cheat a deadlift as much. IMO, a weak deadlift usually means weak overall. And for the record, I bench 1.765314159 x 10^-24 solar systems. Beat that.
Posted Thu, 11/15/2012 - 06:17
You all know this is measured in kilograms and that it wont work for pounds as the conversion does not work out calculator
Posted Tue, 12/11/2012 - 21:28
Uh, actually it works for both. Seriously, get a unit converter from pounds to kilograms, type that number in, and you'll get the same amount, just in kilograms
Posted Mon, 01/07/2013 - 16:14
If someone can bench 100kg 5 times the calculator states his max is 116.7kg. If someone weaker could only bench 100lbs for 5 reps, you would get the same max- 116.7, just in pounds. The units don't matter, because your max will be stated in whatever unit you enter it in.
