Bench Press Calculator - Calculate Your 1 REP MAX

Average: 4.2 (217 votes)
4.2 5 217
The Muscle & Strength bench press calculator can be used to work out your approximate 1 REP MAX bench press. These figures are not 100% accurate, but it serves as a good guide!

This bench press calculator can be used to work out your approximate 1 REP MAX bench press. The way this bench calculator works is it takes the amount of weight you can bench for a certain number of reps and uses a formula to calculate your approximate 1 REP MAX. Obviously, these figures are not 100% accurate.

To use the bench press calculator simply enter the weight in the first box provided and select the number of reps from the drop down box. For example, if I benched 100kg for 10 reps I would enter 100 and select 10 reps. The bench press calculator works in both pounds and kilograms.

2 things wrong here:
1) If you are 92% muscle, you have 8% body fat, meaning you have the physique of professional bodybuilder....
2) If you ARE 92% muscle at 200, you should probably max somewhere around 350-ish....

Dude as a wrestler I have 7% body fat and so do like half the people on my team... it's not that uncommon, just workout at high intensity for 2-3 hours a day, 1 hour lifting and 1-2 hours hard cardio, and you'll be there in like half a year

What are you talking about?? Pro swimmers swim at least 4 hours a day... I swim 4 hours 3 days a week and I'm going to be super healthy when I'm older.

I think that you may have the idea of bodyfat confused. You also have organs and bones, tendons, cartilage, etc. 92% muscle is ridiculous.

If you are 92% muscle and 8% fat and weigh what you say then you should be competing.

More importantly, if he's 92% muscle and 8% fat, where does he keep his bones and sinew?

8% body fat doesn't necessarily mean buff or strong. A skinny kid (note his age) could easily have those stats if he is tall. His muscular development and control would make his max quite appropriate.

Seriously though, the people who brag about their "maxes" are usually the ones pulling it out of their behind.

Listen sine, keep hitting up the workouts steadily and you will get there. Don't forget the squats and deadlifts and strict barbell press standing, in front of head.

I'm 20 years old as well. 6'2 height 190 pounds. I can pump out 15 reps at 225 but i have been lifting for almost 3 years. According to this calculator my 1 rep max is around 330. My bro is a beast. 10 year Marine Core vet, he can pump out 4 reps at 405 lbs. This calculator says his max is 457 lbs but I don't really think that is true lol. I wouldn't trust these online things, best way is to just see what you max is on your own.
