What is DMAE and what does it do?

DMAE is known as Dimethylaminoethanol, and is an antioxidant, a precursor of Acetycholine, a neurotransmitter that is primarily responsible for feelings of relaxation and well-being. It’s believed to play an integral part in the onset of your dreaming state.

DMAE is able to be consumed via orally, or as a cream topically.

Does DMAE have any side effects?

DMAE is a non-toxic substance which is safe for human use, but overdosing is possible. Overdosing can result in headaches, muscle tension, and even insomnia.
