This is the absolute best you're going to do for your protein:dollar ratio. 57 servings, 20g of protein per serving for only 18 bucks. Granted the taste isn't great and it absolutely refuses to mix with water (tried in a shaker bottle and it became a mix of about 10% liquid and 90% bubbles) both of these problems are easily remedied by mixing it with milk, or other milk-like substance (haven't tried dairy milk but it tastes pretty damn good with vanilla almond/soy milk). In addition to being cheap and rather tasty when mixed right it is easy to digest, packed full of digestive enzymes, and has only 100 calories. I'd strongly recommend this supplement no matter what your goal is.

My cat can't even eat this sh*t.. she licks the bowl once and then runs away. The taste is really really bad. It mixes poorly if you're not using a blender of some kind.

Unfortunately I am lactose intolerant and if I drink whey protein I will fart extremely foul smelling gas all day and have bad diarrhea. So that cuts me off from about 90% of proteins out there.

That being said, you could go with soy, but this one has the lowest calories to protein ratio. More bang for your buck so to speak. So that's why I give this 4 overall stars. Because out of the things I CAN use, this one is somehow the best.

If you can consume whey protein without farting a symphony, I say avoid this. Leave it all for me.

Having chosen to abandon animal products, I needed a replacement for my daily whey protein powder. I tried a rice based product and couldn't tolerate the taste and texture. Then I tried this product. I take two scoops with 1/3 cup of rolled oats and a large teaspoon of ground flax seed in a blender with a few frozen berries or grapes every morning. It has worked very well. It blends up very smooth and frankly tastes a bit like cake batter to me... Been using it now for several months. I am very happy with it.

I am a huge fan of ultimate nutrition products and take them regularly. This is the only one I cannot force myself to finnish a glass of. It has great ingredients like glutamine and i'm sure it would be helpful to anyone who can drink it but I would not recommend it simply for taste and the fact that it clumps more than it mixes.
