Smooth Vanilla, i agree with an earlier review about the smell when you open the container but when you mix it up it taste excellent just like a fast food vanilla shake! My only complaint would be i'm not sure my container had 5lbs. of product but i think this is a solid product.

I thought I'd give this product a shot because I wanted the free shit that came with it. I wasn't expecting much from a protein that $42. Other proteins I have tried at this price point have been chalky and/or not tasted very good at all. I was really surprised with this. It mixed up nice and smooth fairly effortlessly in a regular shaker. The texture was creamy and not chalky. There were no pieces left in the bottom of my cup when I was done drinking it. And the taste was pretty much bang on what I like, not too sweet. I'm pretty much sold on this, great product!

Bought this when it was the "Deal of the Day". Was very excited for it to arrive, and boy was it not a let down. Used it for the first time this morning...tasted great, mixed perfectly. Now just gotta wait a few weeks and see what kind of effects it has. So far though, it was a great buy and I am very pleased.

P.S. the free tshirt I got was pretty awesome as well.

Just got this in today..I bought this on the deal of the day. Shipping was great. Opened the package today and took a smell of the protein. Must say, my first response was wow this stuff smells awful (vanilla) put the lid back on and put the container up. Got it out this evening and wanted to try it out. Got my shaker cup out poured some milk, one scoop of protein and a lil more milk, mixed great no clumps at all. Took a drink and I was blown away with the taste, tastes like drinking a vanilla milkshake...will def buy this product again. Highly recommended.

I bought this to add extra protein to my post workout fruit smoothies and meal replacement shakes. I am very happy with the product, its not overly sweet which means my shakes (which already have the sugar from fruit) are very drinkable. I also tried it mixed with skim milk, and it mixed up well and there was no clumps in my shaker.

I'd recommend this, and plan on trying more flavors on my next order.

This review is for both the Milk Chocolate flavor and Cookie and cream flavor. The only reason I am not scoring this a straight 10/10 is because the cookies flavor was a bit weak for my liking. On the other hand, the milk chocolate flavor was phenomenal! I've never tried a chocolate protein that's this good! It's got a real milk choc flavor too it, just awesome! Both flavors mixed very will in my regular shaker and there was no clumps. The texture was spot on too.

Overall, VERY happy with the purchase!

I was very happy with my purchase of Premium Series Protein vanilla flavor. I generally mix up most of my protein with berries and oatmeal, so I need a vanilla flavors thats not too sweet. Premium series was just right, and my shakes tasted very good! I also tried the protein mixed with water and mixed with skim milk and was happy with the flavor. The powder mixed up fairly effortlessly in my M&S shaker as well.

After trying Isofuel and loving it I was not disappointed with Premiums Series

Taste - tried the cookies and cream flavor, was nice and smooth and easy to drink. Great texture with no bits in it

Mixing - good on my shaker

Price - Great

Flavors - needs more flavors available, maybe some fruit flavors like banana or strawberry

Overall, I was really happy with my jug. Impressed.

Here's my review after 1 full tub:

Taste: Liked it, not too sweet, smooth. Tasted pretty good with water and milk. Also mixed in well with my banana post workout drink.

Mixing: Mixed up easily in about 5 seconds of shaking, regular shaker.

Price: Best value for the price easily

Overall: Really impressed by this product, its good for people who dont want to pay north of $50 for a 5lb protein jug. Will be ordering again and trying new flavors.

I dont know why people are hating on the Cupcake batter, I bought all 4 flavors and that flavor tastes pretty good. It's not as good as M&S's Isofuel Cake Batter, it's more vanillary. But it mixes up smooth and goes down easily. By far the best flavor is the cookies and cream, which tastes fantastic! Easily the best cookies I have used. The chocolate is also pretty good, has a real milk choc taste, quite different to the dark choc taste you get in a lot of other powders (like ON double choc for example). At 42 bucks, I think this protein is great value. I'll definitely be using it going forward, and would recommend anyone who's thinking of trying it to give it a shot.

First off, let me say that I love M&S as a company. I have and plan to always purchase from this retailer because the prices are low and they ship fast! Because I trust this company so much, I didn't think twice before stockpiling this protein powder while it was $8 off for a total of just about $34 per tub.

Sadly, though, this is one of the worst tasting protein powders I have ever tried. This review is strictly for the Cupcake Batter, as I haven't yet tried the Cookies and Cream I also purchased. This tastes nothing like Cupcake Batter; in fact, it tastes more like a Vanilla powder that doesn't have nearly enough of a vanilla flavor system. Rather than enjoy this stuff, I have to shoot it down as quickly as possible post workout. In an age where flavor systems are advanced enough to make protein taste almost as good as milkshakes, it is unfortunate that products like this go to the market--especially from a company I really like.

Wow...this was honestly pretty dang awful. It was especially disappointing to me because I absolutely ADORE Muscle and Strength's other whey...IsoFUEL (which I give a perfect 5 star rating).

My immediate reaction was to give this Premium Series Protein 0 stars for taste...but realistically speaking, it's not even close to being as bad as some of the other wheys I've had over the years. That said, whenever I have some, I pretty much plug my nose so I don't have to taste it. It also leaves me with a little stingy feeling in the back of my throat (that might be my own problem though in terms of possible allergies).

Whey flavoring has come a long, LONG way within the past five years or so. This Premium Series Protein reminds me of the earlier days when companies were trying to get the flavor right, but not doing a very good job...at all.

And it tastes nothing like cupcakes....thought that'd be important to add...

I have no idea how this product is a top 5 best seller. The other flavors must be good or something...but there is absolutely no way I'm risking it ever again. Back to IsoFUEL for this guy.

I am generally not a fan of chocolate protein powder but that has now changed. The Premium Series chocolate whey from M&S is the best I've ever tasted, and I will be ordering more. It's not just one of the best chocolates I've tasted, but one of the best protein powder flavors period.

I just got your guys' Platinum Protein powder in Cupcake Flavor... DAMN. This one of the best tasting flavors ive had since Cinnamon Apple Crumb from MGN.
In case anyone hasn't tried it, get it, i rate it a 10/10, wouldnt change a thing about it.. Just wish i had chunks of cupcakes in it now!!

I decided to take advantage of the sale M&S had going on with this. Ordered yesterday, arrived this morning - great service! Anyway, I mainly use vanilla flavored proteins because I like to mix my drinks up with other things like oats, berries, fruit, etc. Just for review purposes, I tried it out with water first. The taste was excellent, it mixed up in about 12 good shakes, and there was no residue in the cap when I finished it. I mixed it up with about 10oz of water. Next I tried my usual post workout shake which consists of banana, 1.5 scoops of protein, crushed oatmeal and blueberries mixed in a blender. The vanilla flavor really seemed to compliment the other flavors well and the shake was delicious! Really happy with this protein, and will definitely be buying some more before the sale is done with.

Top quality protein! I wasn't expecting much for a protein for 40 bucks (I usually use ON Whey which is ~$58) but was pleasantly surprised at how well it mixed up in my spider bottle. The powder was light and easily mixed with about 9oz of water. The taste was perfect IMHO, not too sweet and really "vannilary". There was no powder or chunks left in the bottom of my shake at the end and no bits in the liquid itself. Easily the best protein I know of for the price, and would absolutely recommend it to other. You won't be disappointed.

Have been using the choc flavor of this protein for about 2 weeks now and am very happy with the product. It's a decent price, the powder is light and mixes up easily, and the taste is AWESOME! Tastes like real milk chocolate! I also found that I didn't get any stomach problems with this powder like I have gotten with some others in the past. I bought the vanilla flavor primarily to mix with my post workout smoothies. I was impressed by the consistency of this powder, it mixed up much easier than myofusion and ON's whey. I have tried it on its own, with both skim milk and water, and the vanilla taste is great with both. It's not too sweet, and doesnt have any grit or a bad aftertaste. For the price, I haven't found anything better than this, seems like a quality product. I'll be trying out the cupcake batter on my next order.

Thought I'd pick this up because I've tried M&S's Isofuel and it tasted awesome. I tried the Milk Choc and I can honestly say this is the best choc protein I have tried, hands down. It has a real milk choc kind of taste, delicious! I mixed it up in a regular shaker without any issues, about 10oz of water. The consistency of it was perfect with that amount of water, nice and smooth not too watery. For around 40 bucks I think this protein is a steal, quality stuff.
