NOW Foods Salmon Oil is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids. EFAs (essential fatty acids) play a vital role in lean muscle growth and fat loss, as well as helping raise HDL (good cholesterol) levels. The Salmon Oil Concentrate used in NOW Salmon Oil Softgels is manufactured in Norway under strict quality control standards. It is screened for the absence of potentially harmful levels of contaminants (i.e. mercury, heavy metals, PCB's, dioxins, and other contaminants).
