I took this a few years ago, probably around the time I was 19 or 20. I went to the gym 3 times a week and noticed that, while the supplement is absolutely one of the best proteins I've ever tasted, it contributed a little more fat to my body then I was prepared for. My metabolism was super high at the time, so it was a bit of a shock to see that I was gaining fat as rapidly as I was with a controlled but not strict diet. As with all protein products, it builds muscle just fine.
If you're looking to bulk up and aren't worried about how you look (if you're looking to cut weight later, etc) this will work just fine for the price point it offers. If you're not looking to gain too much weight, I advise that you make sure you have a minimal amount of fat and sugar in your diet because this protein adds in too many fillers to be considered a premium product.
Look elsewhere if you've got a little more money to spend, otherwise this will do nicely.

I have been drinking Muscle Milk for a while now and i love it. It tastes amazing, almost all the flavors do. Not really a post workout protein shake but something to keep you going throughout the day and keep your body in a anabolic state. Highly recommended!

Excellent mixibility. I added just enough water to make sludge and after a few stirs with a spoon the texture came out smooth, creamy, and rich (my favorite style for protein powder). Not to mention it smelled like vanilla frosting!
Taste: 9.75/10
The taste was also phenomenal. It not only smelled like vanilla frosted, but it also tasted like it. It went down smooth with no strong artificial sweetener or chemically aftertaste.
Value: 7.25/10
$1.67 per 70g (300 calorie) serving from the 4.94lb tub. Although there’s a bunch of extra goodies in Muscle Milk compared to traditional protein powders. $1.67 is quite a high price per serving, especially since you’re only getting 32g of protein and 32 servings per container.
Overall: 9/10
Muscle Milk Original formula is an amazing-tasting product with excellent mixibility and a bunch of added vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, and other goodies, when compared to other protein powders. However, at this time, I cannot justify myself spending $50.00 on an MRP formula with only 32 servings per ~5lb container. However, if there were ever a sale or I wanted to treat myself to a dessert-like protein blend, I’d definitely pick up a few.
