November Supps Question:
Is it true that caffeine can affect my creatine intake?
Answer:
Research has shown that caffeine can interfere with the performance enhancing effects of creatine by interfering with the relaxation time of muscle. Creatine supplementation helps to shorten the relaxation time of muscle and the quicker a muscle can relax the quicker the muscle can contract again. If you're serious about getting the most from creatine, avoid chronic use of caffeine. It has been reported that the equivalent of three cups of coffee per day for as little as three days is sufficient to completely negate the benefits of creatine.
