Fair enough mate... but I've been there done that, I spent my high school years getting my arsed kicked in every damn day by a select group of kids bigger than me who decided they didn't like me. By the last year it was so bad I had to start seeing a shrink because I was gonna off them and myself, but I told a friend who told a teacher... I started boxing and I have not backed down or taken crap off anyone since. I have had my butt kicked by people bigger than me, smaller than me... but I have never been afraid or backed off and been a victim. I had my fill but that's me, everyone has their own life to live. This is just how I choose to live mine now because the memory of the alternative reminds me why I am who I am today.

Hmm... in my believes... the fist is the weapon of the dumb man...

Avoiding problems or avoiding fights has made me realise it's safer for both parties...

Ok if your life is treathened or your friends... it's something different...

But jeesh, I'm not gonna start a fight where I work? Let's say, I let him be kicked outa the gym... Since this guy is Moroccian, he's gonna call his friends, come up with 15 guys waiting for me outside the gym, destroy my car, touch my girlfriend and so on...

This is what they do... I have to reason this with words, make a pact or something...

Anyway, my boss talked to him (of course this guy changes all what happened saying i started it all etc...) but lucky my boss knows me and knows it's not true... It's the ignore game... it sucks... since I have the feeling I lost...

The most annoying would be watching someone lift improperly and resisting the urge to correct them. I have learned not to approach them for they often will chew you out. Its often very distracting and takes my attention away from my routine. I always wanted to drop a business card in their locker or gym bag, but never get the gumption to do it.

A home gym consisting of Bowflex Power-Pro XTL and power blocks(5-90) and some running shoes is all I need... Gym passes are a nice addition too.

I cant understand people like that. It hurts people like me that would love to have someone critique my form to better my results. I did squats for weeks with heavy weight( i weigh 140 pds, so my heavy may be your warm up)-until someone finally stopped me, had me place lighter weights and actually squat lower than a couple inches. result-less impressive amount of plates, more impressive lower body.

overcrowding for me, with overcrowding comes people not wiping down equip, smell, excessive groaning, not putting equipment back, hogging the machines/stations, and pretty much every other annoying habit... I dunno... maybe I just don't like people

Not sure if this counts as "smell" but... Farting.

Theres this older guy at the gym. He works out about 2 times per week. I swear, every rep the guy rips ass. The first time I almost hurt myself because I started laughing while doing some militaries. Yes, they smell bad too.

The other thing that drives me nuts (and this might just be a YMCA thing) is the old guys that just sit around the locker room wearing nothing but towels (or less) and bull****. A few times I've done my full workout + 35 minutes cardio and the same two 70 year old naked men are standing in front of my locker.

My hate is when people persist on using in correct form even if you help them with it! And are therefore swinging and using the momentum of really heavy weights to do the exercises and you are there with less heavy weights using the correct technique and looking weak!

Lol... I voted for people not wipeing down the machines, but reading this post reminded me of this old guy at the gym the smells like ***umm, CRAP!!!*** lol... seriously I'm kinda embarrased to write this, but he made me gag... Yes, an old man made me gag... ...
