So we don't really have those problems... (well there are exceptions)

Our free weights are ALWAYS everywhere... it takes you 1 minute to find the dumbell you need because people leave it everywhere (and get ****ed off if you just ask them to put it back)

I answer; it appears to be light enough to take it but too heavy to place it back...

IF they are putting it back they put the 20 lbs dumbell on the left and the other 5 metres to the right... wtf...

I'm soo tired of putting them all back to places since they're just too stupid to place it back... so I don't arrange them anymore...
I tell all my members that weights have to be put back on the rack, If I find anyone has left them out then I ridicule them in front of other members, that cures 99% of them, If the situation occurs a third time then I refuse to renew their subs, thats when they suddently start appologising and say it will never happen again. And normally it doesnt,

There is this difference... You're the owner... I'm just some dude working in a gym... And usually these guys are very massive and tell it's my job to clean it all up...
Since these guys bring up money, my boss doesn't want to get rid of them...
I don't get it... I'm responsable for the gym, but I'm not allowed to throw someone out, not obeying the rules... Just report it... That's what I do... but my boss is like '' Just don't talk to him anymore and avoid problems ''

WTF??

WTF??
Your boss is a nob...lol

My reason for making sure that the weights are put away is that there is nothing worse than going to warm up for a session only to find that you have to unload a load of weights first.....

LOL yeah...At my gym everyone is pretty respectful...but we did have a problem with people not re-racking the 100 plates..So the KBR guys that run it moved all the 100 plates to a rack beside the desk..and started making people sign them out..lol..Man did it suck packing those back from the leg press..

most of these annoying things can be solved although they are inconvenient, however you cant kick people out so i'd have to say overcrowding is worst since theres nothing you can do besides come at a different time.

Well to reply to all of you at once...

I like working at my gym, I'm loved by many (but not by all), my boss is pretty cool when I do some extra coachings outside hours, or invite friends for free etc...

BUT... when it comes to rules... I hate it when people think they're in their home in the gym... example: people are not always hygienic... Some are crazy enough to pee in the sauna in the stones to have extra 'heath' some shave themselves in the hammam (turkisch sauna)

I mean, my job is not to check every 5min to see whether there is some dude masturbating in the sauna or check up toilets if somebody sh*ts on the seat...
The thing is... clients are happy when you don't give a remark... Jeesh I once caught a guy shaving right next to the ''No Shaving Sign'' He was ****ed off and that I'm a jerk and starts yelling about how stupid this gym is...

Ok, report to my boss... Answer of my boss: ''He comes here 3 years already so he's a good client, just let it go and tell him not to do it anymore''

Since then... Everytime I see that guy, he comes to me to complain about this and that...

Talk to the hand boy...

most annoying thing in my gym is when a fella comes in and lifts his weights -
when he's finished he always bangs them down ... doesnt matter what exercise he is doing or what weight it is.... BANG! down it goes and then looks around to see who is looking at him..... its really annoying , i said something to hiim one day like..... jeees man if its that heavy maybe you should drop the weight so you have enough energy to put it down properly..... didnt work though!
