I hate when old men like to stand in front of the mirror at my gym and look at themselves stretching, which happens to be right infront of the bloody squat rack for 20 minutes. That and people (and trainers) that encourage rapid reps, I see these people come in and push as hard as they can and rip through a set of 15 reps in less than 15 seconds. Idiots and the trainers promote this!

Yeah bad trainers should be on the list too, my gym has a lot of interns who are very excited to dish out "info" that is often less than accurate!!!

How about those that grab the dumbbells off the rack and start doing there set right there, a few inches from rack..How about stepping back a few feet so others can grap other dumbbells off the rack...

Default overcrowding leads to most of these problems

overcrowding is the cause for most of these probs.

i hate when the gym is so crowded you cant even think. I never go to the gym from 6-8pm on weekdays. crazy!

I Like working out on a sunday afternoon. the gym is empty except for the hard core guys and its nice to be able to sit there and rest and not have 3 people waiting for the bench.

I hate when people walk to close to you while you are squatting or doing anything with alot of weight thats dangerous.

oh well! i lift in the heart of waikiki beach in hawaii so I guess i shouldnt complain.

Another advantage of being self-employed, working out in the afternoons

Well I usually drink no-explode or 2 cups of coffie so i like to start off my work out dumping excess weight in the bathroom. I hate when people either dont flush or pee all over the toilet seat. this just instantly put you in a bad mood to work out.

I laso hate when people talk on their cell phones during their work outs and when people throw the dumbells and slam weight stacks.

I just realized that I do this with dumbbell shrugs. Thanks for the heads up!

Hey thats ok though. If your shrugging with alot of weight like 120lb bells then you should be ok to stand right there. I do and I dont care who is mad. Im not walking ten feet holding those dumbbells im just gonna rip them right there and then finish and move out of the way. dont worry about it. they can wait 20 seconds.

Hate overcrowding/hogging equipment. Means the same thing - my workout gets screwed up. And without pretending to be a pro or anything, it makes it 10 times worse when the person using the equipment u want is doing it completely wrong and you know theyre not benefitting from it anyway!
