Default Do You Keep a Record.

Seering that keeping a record of training routines and nutritional intake are both equally important to achieveing training goals, do you keep a record....??

I don't keep a nutrition log as I eat pretty much the same thing every other day with very little changes here and there. I have notice others keeping records for lifting but I don't yet.

Do you/Would you plan out your log ahead of time? Like have the different exercises planed for so many weeks then change them to different ones, or just see how it goes and change/update your log as you go?

Thanks

When using a training diary you can look back on the last workout on the bodypart and in each exercise you note how many reps you completed last workout and this workout you get it into the head that you want that one extra this time......

Training record mostly, meaning sometimes if I get no changes from a previous work out I won't make any additions. Some training sheets are covered with whether I went to failure, how I laddered my sets, what weight I start at and each set after and the cycle I used. Sometimes I just want to do my thing and just wait till next day to track and sometimes I just do it! (No I do not work for Nike!)lol.

I keep three records:

- Training log

- Diet

- Weekly measurements - body fat and full-body measurements.

I personally like to keep things organized.

I have all my weeks planned out - I know what I'll be doing in the gym way ahead of time.

I also keep record of the supplements I take. I log in the dates that I begin my cycles, and this helps me keep on track of what I am doing.

And you cross-reference that with your weight gains to see what's working

I keep a training diary. It helps me to know which excersices i did and how many reps i did for each particular muscle.

I should make a diet diary also... its coming soon.
