Default Which Sport Requires The Most Rigorous Training?

No one has been a professional athlete in all these sports so I guess there's not really a right answer. Let's just see what everyone thinks, that's the idea of a poll!

On another note, if you have any poll ideas post them here. If they're good, I'll use it as a weekly poll

I would say football and boxing are pretty close together as you are always trying to be in better shape, stronger, and be on top of the competition. I would say hockey is second along with wrestling.. but i dont think there are many other sports that compare to football and boxing.

Welcome to the forums

Yeah, I've never played hockey but I imagine the training would be pretty intense. As for wrestling, I've seen some of these guys train and they train hard so it's definately top 3

i would say every sport up there has to train there asses off on a professional level. they're just training for different things. like im sure football an boxing spend a hell of alot more time trying to get big but i bet the dont have a 1/4 of the cardio endurance of a soccer player.

im not to sure about baseball though. they all look a little out of shape to me

i would most definatly have to say boxing. i trained for around 5-6 months and boy was it hard. when the seasons off your building up and getting really strong but when the season is on, you do so much cardio to get in shape and become as light as poss. must say the hardest sport ive ever experienced and may ever experience. (must say it wos the cheapest form of exercise ive ever has - personal trainer kinda, vigorous exercises, kept in top health and all 4 £1 per lesson, and at 2 hours in each lesson - that is well cheap compared to a gym membership hehe lol)

£1 a session is good but you can set a boxing club up for under a grand, but to set a gym up is £60,000 plus......For boxing you need a good gym for weight training for the different machines, weights, and exercise choices....
