Well i see your point, but honestly, i think this might work exactly the opposite way for some people as well... When you go training you can see this big-ass dudes who are much stronger/bigger than you and think: god i want to be like that - shows that you can get big/strong if you just have the willpower.

For instance: you're saying you have pushed 1300 Lbs - that makes me pretty jealous and gives me a feeling to go train

After all, us new guys constantly ask you (and the other experienced lifters) for help and we sort of look up to you here at M&S

Got an idea based on something from the gym today... when you are in the middle of a set what gets you out of your groove/distracts you and messes up your concentration? Nothing. Someone doing something stupid/unsafe. Male watching you. Female watching you... just an idea.
