Im a 16 year old drummer. I weigh just over 9 stone. My arms always ache when playing drums for short amounts of time. What exercises can i do to build my stamina and strengthen my arms and legs. Thankyou.
P.S also what foods are best for stamina and strength? |

i should think to help with ur arms doing hammer curls would help with the aching arms as it is a similar action .. as for legs you cant beat a bit of squats..
as for the food mainly carbohydrates and protein but also fibre and all the other food groups

drumming is fairly intensive on your muscles and done for a decent amount time. therefore, you should be aiming for more endurance based exercises. get the rep range in 12+ areas.

I agree with the good replies above, to build endurance, higher reps, but muscle energy comes from stored energy in the muscle and liver, and the only thing that sorts that one out if a good nutritional intake...
