I would like to get some educated help concerning building muscle and boxing at the same time?
I tried to surf the internet about it but did not find any reliable source
About me :
My height is 184 cm and I weight 73 kg. I also box 3 times( mn, wd, fr ) per week and my boxing session is around 2 hours and contains decent amount of cardio, punching, jumprope etc.
I train boxing for 3 years already, but I have always wanted to put on more weight WHILE boxing.
Basically my main goal is to add 10-12 kg of muscle to my bodyweight. Preferably until month of june or july 2013.
I found this website extremely interesting and educating. And i hope this forum will help me, because I have not received any good advice on my topic anywhere else.
My boxing trainer said that it is fine to combine it but I should be carefull not to overtrain myself. However he is totally profound in bodybuilding.
My question is it possible? Or should I give up boxing for my goal? Will boxing slow down my muscle growth? Is 2 days of bodybuilding is enought for muscle gain? I have so many question which I want to ask. Of course I try to do the research by myself but there is so much information that I need to digest that I think my braing will blow up.
