    Hi All,

I have devoted more than 30 Years to the Body Building Sport now and I hope that I can go on for a couple of more Years.

I am reading all sorts of magazines regarding our Sport but what strikes me is the fact that most of the articles about food, supplements , training etc are for young people. I am 54 years old and I would like to see more information for my age group.

I hope I can get more information via this Forum because I cannot find it in the Regular magazines.

    Default subluxated clavicle (sternoclavicular joint)

My doctor just told me I have a subluxated (partially dislocated/fractured) clavicle. For about one year I have been experiencing soreness and aching after doing dips/pull ups on the assisted machine. But no one in my gym could give me any advice. The doc says I must have been in an accident or had a fall (I haven't). I am sure it was caused by this excercise, but can't find any info on what I might be doing wrong and what I should do about it. I am a 57 year old woman, small boned, about 114 lbs. Any suggestions? Have you heard about clavicle fractures caused by dips/pull ups?
    Thanks.

This condition is normally caused by weak tendons of the shoulder girdle and/or a weak rotator cuff. My advice would be to go and see a physiotherapist who can diagnose and recommend exercises that strengthen the shoulder

If it is possible, I would like it to be changed to sammamar93. Thanks a lot.

Hi, use the "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page, and ask your question there, Damien can then change the user name for you, please be patient as he is on holiday at the moment

    Default Looking for advice

I have been working out intensely for about 7 months. My goal is to build muscle mass and gain strength. Unfortunately I am a hardgainer and I am not having much success. I am eating aroung 3300 calories per day. I eat mostly lean protein, complex carbs, fruits and vegetables. I try to be very strict when it comes to my diet. I have alos cut out all junk food and soft drinks. I work out on a 5 day split routine hitting each body part once per week. I am constantly changing my routine and trying to shock my muscles. I also drink alot of water and rest two days a week. I feel like I am doing everything right, but not seeing great results. I have been able to gain about 11 lbs. but I still do not look very muscular. Any advice would be great!
