    Default Maxi carbs drink

    well im in my cutting phase now and ive been told to buy carb drinks, i bought a big box of this stuff. http://www.exercise.co.uk/maxi_carbs...dept.3.cat.24/
    from a shop in my area, i would like to know if this is good to take after hiit sessions and workouts, the guy at the shop said to take it with a whey shake, and i have done research on other sites telling me not to take this, so id like your opinion on this thanks

    The product is 100g of complex carbs, with a small amount of simple carbs

    It is normal to take complex carbs before training and simple carbs during and after the workout. Complex carbs are slow digesting...

    ohh, how much simple carbs would you reccomend to take straight after training, and which ones, i heard some where 0.8grams to 1 kg of body weight

    Take dextrose post workout with your shake, usually 40-70g

    Maltodextrin is a good complex carb that takes quite a long time to digest, its used to give a supply on energy throughout the day, you should have it during the day before your workout but not in your postworkout shake.

    You can buy some if you want to make a weight gainer shake or something along those lines otherwise just decent food is enough

    post workout while cutting and not dextrose?
