Default Cable Crossover vs Functional Trainer

Hey guys, I'm adding one of these to my home studio but not sure which as I've only ever used a CC. Any benefits to the functional trainer in your experience? The CC pictured is the one I'm looking at, the FT is a different brand I saw. Space isn't an issue either.

Ended up going with the cable crossover 1) you can get more angles with your flys without the tension coming off the cables and 2) it was cheaper. Should receive it later this week. Definitely going to be a great addition to the gym.

I think that was a good call. You can do all the different pull ups, and I love doing dual cable lateral raises on that machine as well. Also, reverse grip tricep pulldowns, cable curls and face pulls. You'll get tons of use out of it.
"Look son, there comes a time in every man's life when he has to make a decision. Do you want to be big, powerful, jacked, yoked-up, have women everywhere want you and men fear you . . . or do you want to do CrossFit?"

Absolutely dude, its definitely very versatile. I'm looking forward to horizontal bicep curls with a stirrup in each hand, reverse cable flys, seated rows. The list goes on. I have had a cable setup that sits in a bench. It's been good and served me well since I started, but this new piece of equipment will take it to a new level. Plus it will be a hell of a lot smoother.
