I have been trying to eat enough protein, carbs and fats to have my diet right. Now the question I have because I want to make sure I have enough protein to let my muscles recover is how much can my body absorb in one meal? I am 32 years old 165 pounds and 5'9". If I have a drink that has like 45 grams of protein and then eat 4-5 eggs that have another 25-30 grams that is about 75 grams of protein. is my body not able to convert all of this or is it wasted? Should I split it up more.
I am thinking this because after I workout in the morning I have eggs all ready to eat and I have a post workout shake. that adds up to about 65-70 grams of protein.
