    Default Gayle Hatch Program

Has anyone ever heard of it? I've seen the squat routine and it looks like it'd do some really good work. Would it be good for me to do? I'm trying to get stronger and more explosive

that's a link to the beginners program. it's seems like a lot for a beginner and quite rough. But it looks to me that it's very similar to Wendler's 5/3/1

this one is a link that has a spreadsheet for the squat program

Has a lot of Olympic lifts. Personally I would not recommend it for a beginner. Check this workout out:

The squat program isn't new, but it's a good chart for making steady gains. It's nice that the formulas are laid out for you as well.

Could I use that for football? I'm getting ready to play for the fall. I need to be stronger, bigger, and more explosive.

You could use it for football. Gayle is a US Olympic weightlifting coach, so it would make sense for his program to have a lot of the oly lifts in them.
