That's a great point, sort of get the best of both worlds.
I always say and mean that I love this site for the advice and guidance I get, I think my form on squats and deads has improved a lot from tips you've given me. Thank you again.

Boring But Big, it's part of the Wendler's 5 3 1 routine. You do 5 sets of 10 reps of50% of your 'training max' which is 90% of your actual max.

Eventually, once I get my squat and deadlift to where I want them, I'm going to lose weight and try competing.

Notes: I went to the chiropractor for some low back pain, they said to lay off deads for a week so I skipped it. Should I do week 1 deads, 5x3, next week or should I skip it and go straighht to week 2 deads, 3x3? Otherwise, I felt a little sluggish today, I wanted 10 reps on OHP but got 9 haha.

Thank you, thank you. I'll get a vid up next time, not sure if it's close grip or narrow, I put my hands right outside the smooth part in the center. My goal is to get 8 reps with 315.

Notes: I'm finally caught up now, I skipped my BBB sets for squats and deads since I had to combine the 2 days and I'm supposed to be taking it easy on lower back. Squats felt great got 8 reps on 305 and it wasn't a struggle. Deadlifts felt glued to the floor, I did the 5 reps and called it a day.

Thank you very much, I plan to train for this whole year and then try and do some meets. My squats playing catch up from a knee surgery I had, but I think in a year it'll be where it should be.

Hahaha give them time. In 3 months I got my squats from 185 for 10 reps to 305 for 8. Only if I was at your bf% or at least within 8%

Thank you, yeah one thing about the videos is I've been able to correct my squat and deadlift form tremendously.

So now I see why your squats are behind! That is pretty impressive to be coming back that quick from an injury. Muscle has great memory though so you will come back bigger and stronger in the long run! Keep it up!
