Currently 3 days a week, but for my next routine I'm bumping it up to 4 days.

    Currently 4 days per week.

Going to knock it back to 3 days soon though.
4 days per week in the gym just takes away time that I could do other things, and plus I find that it can play with your recovery ( not a good thing ).
    Consistency is the key

4 days a week, I just started my second week of Troy A. Dolfi's Intermediate 4 Day Split. I got back into training in Oct., after a ten year hiatus.

I like full body routines 3 days a week. Right now with my ankle broke I am doing 4 days but only because i have to keep sessions very short as sweating in a cast would be no good. Cast will stay wet inside.
Monday and Thursday bhtnp and dips
Tuesday and Friday pull ups and cable rows.

Just enough to try to hold on to my size while I'm down
Currently doing "old school " a hybrid of good programs tailored to suit me.

4 to 6 days. Reason being is, where i work we have a really good gym but i can only use it in my dinner hour. So by the time i get changed I only have around 45 minutes. Which is just enough time for one body part. How ever if im on nights i cant use the gym. Also we get a week of after the week of nights so i have to join a gym, where i can do longer sessions but go less.
