    Question Red dots in muscles

    Hi,
Here I have a kinda weird thing. I noticed that sometimes when working out, after the exercise, some red dots appear in my muscles. Like for example today I was doing shoulders and after I finished all the sets I saw that the front shoulders (if it's a correct way to call that part) were all red and with little red dots. Weird?
Does this ever happened to you?

I would take a picture of it and bring it to a dermatologist. Could be a reaction to heat, sweat, pre workout supplements. It seems odd that it happens at the muscle you are working on and not over a bigger area. Could it be the bar or a towel?

Also, if you can see a dermatologist, and you have not done so before, it is a good idea. He will also check moles, lumps, or anything suspicious that might lead to more serious things.

Sometimes the skin on my arms and legs turns red/blotchy when I work out, but its due to circulation. The blood is rushing to the skin's surface, and I have pretty pale skin to begin with.

I'm not sure about the defined red dots you describe though. Is it actually on the skin's surface, like maybe a heat rash?

If it isnt going away immediately after you cool off, sounds like purpura. Capillaries burst for one reason or another and small bits of blood rise to the surface. Otherwise it may just be the redness you get from being hot while lifting. Wouldn't worry about it too much unless you get other symptoms.

I get that too, in the same place as well but it goes away after a few days. U think its like blood vessels bursting due to the stress but that's just my guess.

Expendable, I don't think it's a reaction to something because nothing touches my skin in those places. Is not an allergy, doesn't itch. And it is localized in only a muscle or a section.

Yes, is on the skin surface. I have the redness from training too, plus these red dots.

Well, this is great that you mention it because these dots seem like blood that came from inside kinda. And after workouts the dots are still there but like more brownish (if it were dry blood). I will research what is "purpura" but the don't bother or anything, just is weird to see how they appear.

I correct my self, I saw what purpura is, and no way that's my problem, i have like 4 or 5 dots smaller than 0.5 mm.
    I'll keep researching.

    Could be a "heat rash"

Are you taking any supplements that will have an affect the circulation ?

What exercises were you doing exactly. If you were resting a bar across the shoulders on say a press, that could have caused it, perhaps ??

Ok, I'm not sure. I use whey, omega pills, vitamins, and jack3d.
One thing to mention is that this happened to me when I went to the gym years ago. And at that time I didn't take any supplement, nothing. But at that time some dots where on my biceps.
Couldn't be just the muscle fibers breaking, and a sign that I'm making progress? Or the muscles are growing?

I noticed it yesterday after Dumbbell Shoulder Press. At first the zone was red and with some bright red dots only in that red zone. Hours after workout the redness is gone and the dots are less and more brownish.

Could be an alergic reaction (or reaction) to one (or more) ingredients of the jack3d,
