Default One Month Bulk, One Month Cut

Would it be advisable to alternate between Bulk and Cut every month? Would I see any results in body shape, or would I tend to stay the same?

I've been trying to bulk in the last weeks. I increased size but it all seems fat to me. So I want to cut and compare myself with the previous me and see if I can notice any difference in lean mass.

Another question, do I need cardio to cut fat? Wouldn't an intense workout, pretty much the same that I do now, with a 500 caloric deficit be enough?

    Cheers

I would spend more than one month when trying to bulk or cut, Im personally looking to spend around 6 months of bulking before I start to cut. If you notice a lot of it is fat then you have to ask yourself if youre bulking with a clean diet or if youre having a lot of cheat meals. Either way you will gain fat as you bulk but with a clean diet, the fat gain should be manageable.

As far as cardio, yes you need it to cut fat. You will burn calories during a workout but its not nearly as effective as cardio.

You don't need cardio to cut fat, but it does speed things up. The deficit a lone will drop fat.

As for 1 month bulk and 1 month cut, It's not really recommended. I've read around here a few times people asking about 1 month cut/bulk, but I am not to sure about the reasoning behind it, you could probably search it or wait for someone who knows to reply >.<

The main reason to cut is to see if there's actually any lean mass gained or if its all fat.

I could bulk until 20% fat and then cut back to 15%, then bulk again until I reach 20% and repeat.

Would something like that work, or be a complete waste of time?

mini cuts are a great way to add muscle without piling on fat. I don't think I'd do one every month, though.

Well, you can see if you are gaining fat measuring you BF%.
Also I'd say that your body needs time to get used to get used to bulk or cut, and in 1 month there is not enough time for your body to understand what's going on.

What if I keep the exact same workout routine and change only caloric intake from surplus to deficit?
