Hey everyone. I'm 27, male, 6'1 and about 165lbs. I've always been very lean, can eat like a pig and never gain a pound which makes working out hard to gain muscle! Everyone always used to tell me eventually I'll hit an age and it will all go down hill etc etc. I think I'm finally there lol.
If I eat junk food or anything bad, it all goes right to my stomach and a bit to love handles region. It's not terrible, not like a big beer belly or anything but it's definitely a gut for sure. Annoying part is that I'm totally fit everywhere else, and normally I hold my stomach in like normal, so to everyone else they think I'm really skinny.
My problem is that I want my stomach to be gone, but I don't want to be MORE skinny, my goal is to gain weight and muscle. It's just hard because if I do a weights workout then eat a huge meal for protein and carbs, you can def see my tummy sticking out a bit in my shirt unless I suck in hard. I'm just worried if I don't do weights and just do cardio every day that I'd get even more skinny which I don't want. Just not sure what to do, weights and cardio but not eat as much or? The weird thing is I'm always so busy with work that half the time I skip breakfast, sometimes lunch as well, or I'll skip breakfast, have a coffee and just a super light lunch, so don't really take in that many calories each day but it doesn't change.
Just not sure what's best for me. Put the weights aside and just do hardcore cardio every day to lose the weight or?
