    Default What time of the day do you exercise ?

    Given that metabolic and hormonal responses to exercise are generally of smaller magnitude in the morning than in the afternoon and at night. What time of the day do perform your training ?

    I ussualy train around 5pm

    Can never weight-train early in the morning, energy & motivation just isn't there.

    Early morning for me. Going after a long day at work I usually drag pretty bad, plus the gym is significantly less crowded in the AM, allowing me more flexibility to do the exercises I want.

    Really depends on when the weight room is open for me, i try to go later. I run around noon and lift around 6ish.
    Maxes: Bench 155x2 Squat: 315x1 Deadlift: 405x1 BW: 147

    Current 5k PR: 17:15. School record.

    Goal for Track: Break 3200m record.

    5:00 PM on the weekdays (not a morning person. Have to be to work by 8). Usually morning around 9:30 AM on the weekends.

    At around 6a before I head to work. I actually don't find working out in the morning to be less energetic. In fact, stress from work at the end of the day normally decreases my motivation to do just about anything. Plus, there are a lot less sleeveless guys in the morning, which somehow makes me feel special!

    Oh, I see it, trick question...all the time increments, bar one, are in increments of 2 hours, apart from the 4 -8 pm, so I guess that's the best time

    Well I usually do gym workouts around 4.30, but sometimes I do one at 12-2 because I have MMA at 6.

    Generally, 7-8pm, but I swapped from morning 7am working out, and have also done a workout at 11.30pm...only 'cos we were kept out late by a friend and I refused to miss my workout that day.

    So, basically any time that's available, as long as I'm awake.

    Right now never . The most important thing is to just train, so whenever I can. For the past year or so it's usually been around 1-2pm, since I haven't been waking up until about 11.

    usually 6-8pm, because of school, eating times and it makes me tired around that 10:30-11 mark

    I workout at different times most days. Usually in the afternoon some when but never in the morning (just don't have the energy or motivation) and sometimes as late as 6pm.

    I am ANTI-ROUTINE!
