    Default Black Beans

    My family is Cuban and we eat Black Beans at least 3 times a week are they good for your muscles and you in general?

    good protein / carbs IMO

    also plenty of vits. Needs to becombined with other protein sources to make a complete amino profile though, but they are always my first pick if I need to bump up a meal.

    Are you eating dried and then cooked beans or having them out of cans?

    Ahh depends sometimes if we need em fast we take them out the can but we also do them from scratch.

    Black Beans are a great food for any bodybuilder.
    best meal ever=cut up oven baked chicken, brown rice, black beans and homemade salsa...yummm lol

    You can make your own beans (or bean soup) in huge portions and then freeze it in smaller sizes (like, say a pint or quart container).

    Black beans are one of my staples. I often eat chicken, black beans and salsa post-workout with some rice.
