if you want to know your BF% get a bodpod done. Calipers will be pretty inaccurate too or a Dexa, may cost you $$$ but will be much more accurate, also it will calculate your TDEE as well
Use the mirror, if you get leaner, then thats all that matters

I bought a set of calipers on Amazon for under $10. It may not get 100% accurate result, but I do get the same measurement every time. So I think it is effective to establish a baseline and track progress.
Strong Lifts 5x5
Age 42 5'8" 157 lbs
Current stats: Age 43, 175 lbs
OHP: 127.5 5x5
BP: 200 x 5
DL: 320 x 5, 355 x 1
Squat: 245 3x5

Wrist measurement doesnt come into the calculation for females
The precetage really doesnt matter, but once a calculation has been done then by monitoring of the total body fat and fat free mass will enable the person to see how the diet and training has affected results. Much the same with most other methods of body fat calculation devices
Thank you for taking the time to provide me with that information, especially as a newbie here.
at least it gives me an idea where I am, so I will know better down the road if my training is taking me where I want to go.
