    Default What Is For Breakfast?

I find myself having eggs almost every morning because they are quick easy to make, and are a good source of protein and other nutrients. I need other suggestions for foods to eat for breakfast that are good for a muscle building diet. Thanks.

What i take is the following (@ 7am)
EAS Protein shake = 20g protein
1 Cup of plain quaker oats oatmeal = 11g protein
3 large Eggs (2 egg whites, 1 whole egg) = 4gx2 for egg whites, 6-9g (depending on size of egg) = 14g-17g of protein.

So that is a total of 592 Calories and 45g of protein. Then at 10am i have another protein shake of either 100% Whey Protein or BSN Syntha 6. Each on avg. is anywhere from 22g-24g of protein per scoop. I take 2 scoop (with water...if you use milk make sure you use skim which is 8g per cup) and which equal about 48g of protein. So by 10am you have taken in over 90g of protein by that time.

Well, breakfast is going to look like 4 peices of toast and 1/4 cup of oatmeal... reason being...

    6:00 - wakeup & take animal cuts.
    6:20 - 30 minutes of lit + 10 minutes of HIIT
    7:00 - 20-25g of protein
7:30 - 4 peices of tast, 1/4 cup oatmeal, multi, water. (~75g of carbs)
    9:00 - workout @ gym.
    11:00 - get back home
    Protein shake...
    eat...

But usually if it's not a lifting day, it's about 6 egg whites, or left-overs... or... something proteiny.

    i alternate between two breakfasts:

    1. 2 eggs, 5 egg whites, two slices of toast

    if you're sick of eggs...

    2. oats, scoop of protein, some natural PB mixed in

i'm cutting of course, but you can adjust portions to the amount of calories you need

I've been seeing TBTaylor talk about the special K protein cereal so i bought some a few days ago. I have to say, it sort of tastes like cardboard but it is bearable. I sort of enjoy it now.

Can't beat 10g protein per serving!!!

Personally I wouldnt use this cereal as a protein or carbohydrate source, The protein is from rice, wheat and soy, and only has 100 calories per 3/4 cup
