Default White Flood.....my experience

Great stuff. I started it 15-16 days ago. The prior 2 weeks to that I was having alot of trouble with getting really tired during my workout and I basically wasn't getting anything out of my workouts as a result. I did some research and looked at other pre-workout supplements such as No Shotgun, Jacked, etc. I went with White Flood because it was one of the only pre-workout drinks that did not have creatine and I did not want to start creatine yet.

I must say, the stuff works awesome. I have had no issues doing 1-2 hours of lifting/cardio together.....I have been working out 6 days per week, too. The stuff doesn't taste the greatest but I have gotten used to it so it goes right down.....I use 2 scoops 30 minutes before working out. I was a little jumpy the first couple of days but not anymore....I guess I just feel like I have normal energy which is what I needed....I am sure for most it's going to give increased energy.

One caveat.....I have a hard time sleeping if I take it late in the day. Otherwise, it's as important as my whey.

IMO you should drop the white flood and get your training and diet together. If you were having trouble getting through your workout, it tells me that you were either lacking in your pre workout nutrition or because of the fact that you workout 6 days a week, your body is lacking proper recovery time.
I don't know about you guys, normally once I start my workout, i find myself with more energy, not less.

I don't doubt your statements.....my diet is the culprit....likely taking in way too few calories right now. My metabolism has sped up considerably in the last 3 months. However, I'm trying to cut fat right now as fast as possible....when I start bulking up in a few weeks I likely will ditch the White Flood for that period at least.

Out of interest why did you want to take a pre workout supp without creatine?

Sorry for late reply. I was told that if I am going to do creatine, the pre-workout powders likely won't have as much in them as I would need. There is only a bit in there.

Plus, I don't want to yet put on that water weight.....I know alot of people swear by it but I'm just getting heavier into lifting now and wanted to hold off on creatine until I started bulking seriously.

After reading your posts i want to point something out to you. You mentioned how your are trying to cut fat as fast as possible...and that your diet is the culprit since you have dropped your calories (probably too low). Cutting body fat is not done by means of reducing calories to the point of feeling lethargic and piling on 6 days of excercise. That is a recipe for MUSCLE LOSS. Will you see your scale weight go down? Yes, of course but you will be losing more muscle in the process than is necessary.

I would suggest having your bodyfat monitored over in the bodyfat thread in the Diet Section and upping your calories such that you are 500 below your BMR and scale back your activities some. This will allow your body to have the nutrition it needs and the proper rest as well.

Regarding creatine. I am not saying get on or stay off of creatine but who really cares about a little water weight? Water weight sure it will increase the scales but the amount of body fat on your body will not change as a result. Just weigh yourself now and then drink a 16oz glass of water and weigh yourself again..are you suddenly 1lb FATTER?
