Default what should i take??

im currently working out to build muscle and strength. and i was just wondering are there any supplements or like protein stuff i should take?? does it even help??? if or when i start taking some when should i take the supplements? before or after workout?

A protein shake taken with simple carbs immediately after your workout can make a big difference to your success.

However, in general, supplements only help once you have got your diet right.

Apart from the post-workout shake, which is quite important, supps can make a difference if they are used to fill shortages in the diet. (For example, insufficient daily protein intake.)

But remember, if your diet is lacking, the supps will be useless!
