If you want to train for climbing, you should do climbing specific exercises: a lot of pull-ups, forearm exercises, core exercises. Do not focus on your legs - too big leg muscles are not needed for climbing - they just weigh too much. Try to run and do a lot of cardio to burn fat. But the best climbing training is climbing itself, so do it at least 3 times a week. Google : "training for climbing" and you will find many good websites with great exercise routines. Good luck.
