Best Exercises for shoulders
Hi, I my name is Dee, this is my first time to a forum so do not laugh. I have been working out for he past 15 yrs, & have gotten serious in the past 6 yrs. I am trying like crazy to build my shoulders so they look sculpted. I see some improvement but I want it to be obvious. I want that "cap" look. Does anybody have any suggestions? I have been drinking protein drinks for a few months and I am not sure if that is doing anything & I just started to take hydroxycut hardcore. I just want some ideas on which exercises,# of reps you recommend, and weight. Thanks for your help

Ok. I have exercise videos that I use mainly Cathe, and she has a tape that is called slow and heavy and she breaks everything down. As far as doing something on my own without a video I do not. I do use a barbell and hand weights, I do not go to a gym, I workout at home.

The reason that I asked what workout you do is so that it gives an idea of what you are doing at the moment...?? same with how often do you do the shoulder workout...??

normally at least 2 times a week. I workout 5 days a week. I rotate cardio with muscle building videos. I know you are not supposed to work the same muscle group 2 days in a row. But that usually brings me to about 2 x a week.

Hi...
Firstly have a look at This Article for a toning routine
Then have a look at This Section for advice on exercises.
Are you sure that your food intake is enough, or are you on a very low calorie diet that only loses muscle....lol

And Dee, don't be afraid to incorporate any shoulder exercise that you think may be "for men", you do not have the testosterone that a guy has, so you will not get big and beastly.
(I didn't know if you were aware of that or not)
Also, change is a key ingredient when trying to get a muscle to grow.
You should change the order of the exercises, amount of weight and reps and even the timing of the motion...IE: 2 seconds up, 2 seconds down
Change about every 4 weeks.
